We are Husky people.
First photo is from the 2002 Greenwich Concours with the 1914 KisselKar 4-40 & our first Husky Quinn.
When we moved from Darien CT to Brunswick ME, in December 2006 we gave Quinn a puppy, Camille.
When we tragically lost Quinn in October 2007, we were absolutely devastated, 6 months later...
Camille got her puppy Morrigan. They were a year apart & were inseparable. Morrighan loved to swim,
help with house & garage projects. Morrigan died on the operating table from Hemorrhaging Cancer as we held her & cried, April 1st 2015.
This was devastating to Camille, severely depressed, her Vet gave us a pheromone collar she wore for weeks.
Leo, Camille's 2nd Husky puppy came home in late July 2015. He's the most mellow Husky, he's like Jeff Spicoli from Fast times at Ridgemont High,
If he could order pizza, he's be the best!
Took Camille at the Vet to examine a small "fatty mass" when she was diagnosed with Leukemia in early 2017 & responded very well to the treatment. In 2019 the "fatty mass" had become an orange sized encapsulated cancerous tumor removed. She passed away quietly at 4am June 1st 2021 at 14.5 years old. Camille was loved & admired all around the world. The outpouring from everyone sending countless cards & a dozen flower bouquets was amazing!
Leo & I mourned for 6 months, he'd howl mournfully every evening, we are very closely bonded.
Now we have Cindy's mom's Golden Retriever, Honey, who's best friends with Leo.
Honey finally living her best life & very happy.
