Yea I especially like the one that's sponsored by NORMAL
December issue. Four page spread of racing CSLs at Lime Rock, Sebring, Daytona, etc. Red man, Stuck, Posey, Ronnie Petersen, Haywood, etc. The NORML sponsored race car is amazing, with pot leaves painted on the front spoiler. The other logos on the car were for Gusser Beer.
The art director of the magazine is a couper, by the way.
Coupes are well covered in this magazine and also well-loved by the bringatrailer guys. Glad they share our tastes. :smile:
Wish I could have seen those races in 1975-76, but I was in first and second grade. Did get to see the racing CSL that resides in South Carolina in action at the vintage race at Sebring last year as a warmup to the big race. Beautiful car in action.
