Check out the Sept. Hemmings Sports & Exotics.
Wall to wall old BMWs including a cover shot of a lovely '74 Coupe. An exact match, except for the slushpump, to my buddy Bill's coupe.

It starts on page 18 with an assortment of 02's.
Page 20 is the cover article of six pages.
There's a 635 on page 35.
A four page article about a 320i.
And concluding with an '88 M6 on page 88 of the auctions.

There is more about BMWs in this issue than a typical Roundel.

A keepsake.

Pretty close, Steve, except the car on the cover has the forward side-marker reflector and no front-mounted antennae like mine...

On front cover--4500 mile 3.0 CS

Was sold by Crevier BMW Santa Ana, CA to a local lady owner who rarely drove the car--in about 2002 it was no longer being driven by the owner and was purchased from her by Don Crevier and displayed in their Santa Ana showroom. It remains completely original and is as new.

I convinced them to transport it the 50 or so mies to be displayed in 2004 at OctoberFest in Pasadena, CA. BLUMAX was poised nose to nose with the low mile champion and the question was--"which Coupe has the highest miles?" There was some confusion!!

not to hijack...

I received in my mailbox yesterday, not only the Hemmings in question, but also the new Bimmer. Murray is modestly not mentioning that there is a nice article about him and Blumax in the current issue of Bimmer.
