CS 3.0 for sale in north California

i was kinda along the same lines - 5000 to 7500. the mechanicals are the affordable parts. the interior and the paint can easily add up to $12,000 to $15,000 depending on how you do it ... and to what extent.
 
I’ve seen a lot worse but I certainly wouldn’t call it rust free :roll:. The spare tire well, the front of the rocker cover and the rain gutter on the left fender all show signs of rusting :shock:. Also the headers are rusting so I really doubt they are stainless. ~ John Buchtenkirch

Looks to me like I had better head down to my insurance agent and up the "agreed value"
rider on my car.
 
Totally overpriced for the condition.

ELDOC we have a FOR SALE section which is where vehicles are placed that are "for sale".

and the DS quarter will probably need substantial work

And the clearly delineated discoloration on the DS rear quarter indicates rust and/or accident repairs.
 
It looks solid but it needs everything! Everything, except the dash. How did those dash pieces survive when the rest of the car looks likes it been sitting in a tanning bed for the last 20 years?
 
Track/event car candidate. Not enough of them out there.
The PO already did the hard stuff: triples and the 5spd conversion.

Gut, sort and enjoy it.

It is great to see the comments and thanks to everybody to post it, some more info about it, the car running, start at the first switch contact, have a/c, I´m sure that is a good candidate to restore.

As all on this forum I find the E9 one of the most beautiful car ever build :mrgreen:

might well be, but in comparison to the white car from Mississippi (which grew up in AZ), the brown 74 from New Orleans, and several others in the $11.5k / $12.5k range ... they look like garage queens comparatively.

so i'll stick with the consensus. this car is seriously overpriced.
