cs convert project on CL

don't you love the door panels. this looks like a car to accelerate the rusting process. kinda like, if you can't keep the moisture out, let it in.

These cars, without the roof's aesthetic lines, become just a non-descript looking convertible.

It appears to have an A/C???? It's got the dashboard knobs and the engine compartment hoses.

Anybody near the seller that can take a look?

Ex Houston Car

Car was on Ebay from Houston. Long time storage. IIRC went for about $1100 - 1400. Got disinterested after that. Part of the make you're own convertible craze in the 80's. Ran with starter fluid sprayed in the intake.

"Wanted to fix it up but ran out of money." Sigh.

It is possible that without the roof (since the e9 has no B pillar) that the cowl shake may
not be as bad as one might think. Then again, rust tends to affect structural integrity
and make things shake a bit more.

A number of cars look much worse as convertibles IMHO: Porsche 911, Datsun Z, Aston Martin Vantage, Audi R8, BMW Z4. . .

EZ on the Nevada Brothels they are in an a recession like the rest of us! (Just Ask Harry Reid.)The Boy's south of the border pay extra for these options but no photo's of the back seat upgrade or mention of matching Red handle screw drivers in the trunk? And the door handle mounted to door panel is an option that probably required a couple of chrome screws to get just the right look.:)
