The towers are indeed a very poor job but the body is beautifully solid. I already have a kart full of replacement panels from W&N and will be tending to the towers and floor pans. The floor pans are actually not that bad because I pulled up the carpet today. The glazing is all original and the trim only has minor pitting. Best of all, it starts, runs smoothly and has a good amount of history together with handbook, copy of factory service manual and keys.

Originally imported by Hoffman Motors Corporation for Martin Motor Sales New York NY, then purchased June 14th 1972 from Continental Motors in Stamford CT and owned in Westport CT, then purchased on October 1st 1995 and owned in Sharon CT, then purchased May 6th 2016 by current owner in Westfield IN. Original color brown per the earlier title but the color appears to be Nachtblau. Car has negligible body panel rust, but poorly reinforced strut towers. There is some rust in the floors, which are about to be replaced with new panels. The car covered 99348 miles up to its 2nd owner and the third owner was 68 years at the time of purchase and did not use the car regularly. The car will now be retro-modded using newer parts.
The current modifications to the car are an M30 3.0 twin Weber Motor and 4 speed manual in place of the original automatic.
Chris mentioned that the color is not likely Topasbraun but there is a sticker available for this color. What could it have been?
