We are very very close to having 500 coupes registered!!
Please keep adding. Even the ones that are gone forever as in crushed, totalled or parted out.

Thanks!

VINs wanted--

Now that the archives of the CS register and Registry are available--

Go to the May-August 1992 issue, VIII, No. 2 for a bundle. Starting on page 27 there's a membership roster where you will find a trove of VIN's with owners names and contact information at that point in time--

Some of us are still around!!

I have the files and have begun the scanning process, if there is any particular issue you'd like to see let me know and I will pull and scan it for you. It's definitely a time warp!

Where are they all....?

OK, so we have about 500 coupes in the Registry, which has been up and running for about a year or so?!? Good effort everyone!

80% of the cars seem to reside in the US (I have by no means done a check on this. Just a gut feeling). A few from Germany perhaps, but it would be very interesting to know how many remain there, in a decent running condition. Well over 1.000 I would imagine.
And 50 or so from the rest of Europe.

Anyone know how many of the 30.000 produced were delivered new to the US?

I once asked W&N how many they thought remained. The answer was about 50%. I very much doubt this. Wishful thinking from their perspective perhaps.

So where are all the other remaining cars.....and will they ever emerge from their hibernation...?? Not when you take into account what it costs to restore them vs what they fetch in the market.

What do you all think???

This is what I could find on the numbers. Has to be way less that half still around.
