Steve just spotted a Polaris Silver 3.0CS getting on the freeway at corner of McCarran and I80 East any one you know in Reno?

Actually are you sure it wasn't me in my 2800. I just got home from a drive.
And I was at that intersection.
My car may look different since I now have fender well trim!
But there are several other polaris cs's in Reno.
I am the most likely suspect!!!

I thought I saw 3.0 on the trunk but what kind of wheels do you have? These were not stock for a 2800?

These were not black. Do you have classic plates on your car if not who do you use to smog?

Tim
Classic plates!
That would be great if 2 cs's were in the same intersection within minutes of each other.
I am still the suspect though.

I would say your right on 2 cs in the same intersection would be like lightning hitting the same spot twice but the rims look more like alpina on this car? It was about 4:00 in the afternoon.
What I meant about classic plates is you don't have to smog each year if you drive less 4000 miles a year and I need to smog my car and I'm going with these plates so I was wondering who you use to smog test? Thanks

Had to renew my Driver License yesterday so why was at the window I asked the guy about Classic Plates and he said all I had to do is bring in my old plates and proof of Insurance. So I went with these items this morning and got the plates with no smog check or inspection!I can't believe it no more smog check this is Great News and only 60.00 a year to renew them!

got you beat - my coupe is $20 plus 4.40 in ad-valorem tax. currently any car older than 1988 doesn't have to have smog test in georgia

Played tennis this morning and drove the coupe legally for the 1st in 2 years!Feels so good not to have watch for police:)

Here in PA Classic plates eliminate smog checks. Antique plates, car a little older, eliminate both mechanical and smog, there is a one-time permanent registration that costs $85. NO inspections or annual plate renewals - ever. There is probably a 3 or 4,000 mile limit but I have never heard of anyone being checked.

My speedo and odometer are in KPH - an advantage if they ever check for the math challenged high school graduate these days.

Kilometers, wasn't that a planet in the Star Trek universe?
