interesting i have that VIN in the ancestry project, originally owned in the USA (1987) by Christopher Sullivan in Binghamton, NY ... and sold in 1991 to Alan Warner in Baltimore. no record of the car since. seeing the engine here makes me think the car may have rusted away or was badly wrecked. or on the positive side, maybe it got an engine replacement. wouldn't be a '74 model with a 226xxxx vin ... it would probably be a 1973 built in late 1972.
