I had my brakes refurbed and picked them up today. they put the spacer in the rears callipers

I am sure they dont have a spacer in them but can someone just confirm I am correct before I go back to the workshop

It is likely that your "csi" vehicle was originally equipped with rear vented brake rotors. To fit the width of the vented rotors, your calipers would have been equipped with spacers. If, for reasons unknown, your vehicle has thinner, solid brake rotors, then the spacers are unnecessary.

You have the rotors?

If they're vented, do a test fit. Should demonstrate that the spacer is needed

Indeed, spacers needed for vented discs.
Walloth even sells the spacers separately to be able to upgrade a non-vented setup (originally only on 2800 cs models i think?) to a vented setup, without having to exchange the entire caliper.

Hi
Yes they need spacers
These are new ones from walloth and nesch.

thanks for all the replies. I suspect I had ventilated rears but need to find them.
