I listed this CSi on BaT in July and no bidders showed up. He would still like to sell and the price he will consider it is a steal in my mind. If you know of anyone who might be interested please have them contact me, I will not post the price here. I was very impressed with the quality of the restoration, the work done to it by sfdon and the way it drove.

@HB Chris Oooh, maybe good it didn't sell…looks too nice to emotionally part with…but whatever the motivations / reasons to sell, wish it goes for the desired amount AND to the Right next Owner….shoot, i am literally on proverbial fence myself selling my 74e3-Bavaria that JUST got brand new Dual Webers to an already nice driving original (automatic) Bavaria and also my 69e3-2800 4spd that runs so nicely especially with the new Webers…if i find the “right buyers” ( people who both know OR desire to know) these cars, appreciate these older models and periodically exercises them)….but sincere best wishes to you HBchris with this nice e9…..thomas in N Y

The car is a great driver. Someone will get a finished car for a serious discount.

Tell the owner Pre-stage C&C in Marin on Nov 15th. Vintage BMW M cars will be featured...

This gorgeous coupe checks all the boxes. I love the color combo. One of the very best for sale this year. I was shocked that it didn't do much better on BaT. Best of luck with this sale!

What a great car! For someone in the market for a very decent coupe, in California, this would be high on my list. At first i wasn't in love with the color. But looking at it again today, I am surprised by how well the flat blue works with the red leather.

Even if one would want a different color or CSL styling items - the discount that seems to be possible could pay for (some of) it. And still have a sub 100K car that looks a million.

@Rudy3.0CS Indeed. Bad time to load off cars or parts. I guess i'll hold on to my parts for a few years more...
