I understand that the csi was never origninally sold new in the U.S. Do we have any available estimates regarding how many Csi's are presently in the States? Just curious. Also, in talking to a parts person today, he indicated that the Csi came stock with only the 14" Alpina style wheel even in 1972. Is this valid? I thought the 1972 Csi came stock with the same 5 star closed wheel as the cs.
Thanks

I have a 1972 CSi that was originally delivered in Italy, and you are correct, it came with the original five hole wheels. As far as how many made it over here is a good guess although there are a number of them on this forum.

Well, I know there are two CSi's on my street -- my '75 and the '72 my neighbor just picked up. :D I'm afraid our neighbors won't appreciate how rare these cars actually are.
