I owned a 3.0 CSL 74
It was in 1990
A silver city package
And I had to teach me that there were several Differences between CSL and CSI
As:
Plexiglas windows (plastick rear and sides behind plexiglass)
Thinner body parts Panels of steel (very interesting)
the roof, front fenders and rear fenders thinner steel ,
Aluminum was the bonnet, boot, doors, fuel cap, headlamp covers
Sheel interior with chairs and of course larger 2008cc engine
Where even in kontackt with BMW
Mynchen 1990 in order to obtain parts
But all the answers ended with the CSL's share is over
I'm very interested in the differences , History and so on and spescaly the panels , Body parts
Witch were thinner ,and also the ultra lite csl ?
