I believe the hoods have been available for some time for ~5k. The guys in Poland will make you anything you want. It's where the Aluminum Cobra and lightweight E-type monocoques (as well as other alum stuff ) are being made, I believe.

Yes. You are right. There are several body shops in Poland making car bodies in aluminum.

But also there is a company called ABCar Oldtimer which is producing unfinished Jaguar sport car (from 3D project till the homologation). They got official approval from Jaguar Club to do it...
