Gary Knox and I did a group buy of Daddywad's Aplina reproduction strut bars a couple of years ago. We were very happy with the quality of the strut bars.
I note too that the intake manifolds may be useful for people going to a triple Weber setup and there are not a lot of options out there. The Korman setup I have is no longer available (Korman told me his supplier lost the molds and drawings in a fire).
I have a question about the strut bar I bought from you a few years ago. It seems that the threaded main beam on mine doesn’t have reverse threads on one side. Meaning you can’t preload it when installed by rotating the main beam like a turnbuckle.. is that normal?
If so, is there a reason for that?
Could it maybe be a revision/improvement for future models?
