I pre-ordered a copy in Nov 2024. It was supposed to be out middle of 2025.
In May of 2025 - I received this in email....

This book retraces the origin of the CSL program through Alpina and the subsequent further developments done bei BMW Motorsport, both street and racing, backed up by many copies of the original documents and pictures, many of which were not accessible to the public up to now... A real treat for any CSL buff.
