yikes!

Isn't that the the Schnitzer body kit circa 1973-4? I am amazed one survived, it IS ugly, looks like a lexan slot-car
 
Where is the market going?

The Geneva Sports Car Auction was a total bust. Only 6 out of the 100 +/- cars sold! Where is the market going?
 
CSL Schnitzer

This Schnitzer kit dates at least back to 1972 as shown in the magazine AMS 24/72...and had to be one of the most outragous looking cars seen on the Autobahn in Germany. Now, think back if you can to 1972....Elton John, Led Zeppelin..... the wilder, the better, maybe you get the idea. Forget about timeless elegance: With 300 to 450 HP under the hood (this particular one had an M49/1 engine previously installed), those "street cars" didn´t have to apologize for their looks. You may love it or hate it (or both) but these cars were definitely a product of their time.
