Wow, that all looks great! How did you find some of the details about the Group 5 cars so you could replicate it?

Any internal engine mods to the S38?

looks like The Bat Lady has a boyfriend

what's in the trunk? Fuel cell, pump, battery, alternator, as in the cars this seems to have been modeled after?

To race? In what venue? Under whose rules?

mmm, can we make this streetable and kick AAAAA on some ricers?

Guys,

The internal engine is stock i wanted the car reliable, in the trunk you have all what you mentioned except the alternator which is still on the engine. A difference with a true Grp5 car.

The car could be streetable as it still has his registered card and plates (not assembled).

The purpose is not to race, the construction by itself was a pure challenge for 3 guys and we took a lot of pleasure to do so. We want to make few track days just for the pleasure but nothing more.
We don't want to damage it as our job is too precious for us.

Hi Phil,

Center locks are pure internal engineering, thought, drawn by us and machined, plated by subcontractors.

Wheels and huge nuts are coming directly from BBS Germany ($$$$$ !!)

VERY NICE!!!

Can you tell us about the wheels and tires? Specifically what brand wheels and tires and what sizes are you using. What resources did you use to get info on building the car?

Wheels size are 10 x 15 front & 12 x 15 rear, they are BBS racing wheel in magnesium / 3 pieces. The tires are Michelin historic TB15, they are new as Michelin reproduce them now. front are 275/15 rear 335/15 (millimeters for the width)

The compound of the rubber is very efficient it is not a pure slick, you can us them as well on the wet.

WOW!!!

That is some serious meat on those wheels. Where can you purchase wheels and tires like this? Also, what kind of car did your E9 racer begin life as?
