The metal band that covers the join in the GRP csl rear bumpers - anyone know if its available?

Don't think they are but you should be able to make one, or get one made.
Suggest stainless steel, you can polish to a fine finish if required.

Hey Malc,

Yeah will have to but thought I heard a while back they were available. A board member has told me they are available from BMW NA. They are NLA in the uk and from W and N.

ANy trips to London planned?

PS Maybe down south in late april/may
 
Its the same part that covers the joint of the Euro steel bumpers, and last I checked it was NLA from BMW anywhere. It was made of chrome plated brass originally.

I do have a steel rear bumper on my parts car I could see if it is there in reasonable condition. Let me know

Thanks guys - will look into Werner supplying and also as it is the same as the steel then a second hand one should be easy enough to source.
