csl sport wheel

I'll post a couple of pics if it would help...but i replaced the nardi steering wheel that came on the car with one of the petri 38cm (imitation leather unfortunately--foam) csl sport wheels. But the horn doesn't work now. I thought they worked by a ring to ring contact but i'm getting nothing.

Does anyone have a suggestion on how to figure this out?

I had a problem with the MOMO wheel I installed - there is a spring loaded carbon pin that makes contact with the ring on the wheel which I had to shim up with a couple of washers. You might have to flip the hub over since the canceling cam for the turn signal is on the other side depending on the year, I think I needed to shim that up the turn signal switch too, if that is the case check that the ww fluid switch can be fully depressed.
