i was very suprised to see someone had posted this on youtube.

Excellent day won the show and shine , Then went racing the 1/4 mile in the afternoon, results lost against E46 M3 by 4 car lenghts, and lost against an E30 M3 with 275 bhp by only 2 lenghts :cry: But beat the 330d and E39 535i and some modified E30's, :wink: My CSL best time of the day was 1/4 in 15.2 sec.
Good to see these cars can still hold there own against modern BMW models.

well not much to see

on the vid but good on ya, anyway.

I think BMW may be somewhat missing the boat, focussing only on pumped up versions, but I guess the market for fuel-efficient cars has not been theirs for a long time now. Other makes will flood that niche, probably better that BMW isn't there.
