Very cool. Going to get some TLC from srennoc? I think I was born in the wrong part of the country. Cali may be crowded, expensive, and have high taxes, but the driving experience for vintage cars is second to none.

So did the orange CSL ever sell post-block, or is it still with the same man who bought it from Peter?

So what do you think? Could you give up the creature comforts of a slightly modified 3.0 CS for a manual windows, scheel seats, etc?

I'm curious to know what the reaction value is of Colorado. Malaga is a classy color. Colorado is 70's bold. I have Colorado on my short list but I worry that I'll grow tired of it or unwanted attention.
 
Well, they are similar but different. The one thing about the CSL is the noise you experience: thin carpet, no sound padding underneath, 4 speed so RPMs are 3500-4000 at highway speeds, it can wear on you after several hours but I loved the Scheels, tilted back one mounting point, I had great thigh support but my shoulders felt hunched forward at the same time. And I can’t reach the passenger window winder when strapped in. I love Colorado even though I am fan of dark colors like Agave, Tundra, Atlantik and of course Malaga.

My coupe is a grand touring machine with lots of torque and overdrive to drop the RPMs but has the power without downshifting if I want. I do like power windows as well. I think I could live with two coupes but couldn’t afford two coupes!

just remember my last trip with the Colorado when I drove it from Bologna to Munich for the BMW auction, sweet car...
