I have an original set (I think) of stainles wheel arch trims

each one has numbers underneath such as (BM7232B) and `11329` on one trim, plus a label inside `GARANTIE-PLAKETTE` 8990 endkontolliert & nicht entfernen.

Anothers number `BM7233B`+ 20006, then BM7231B + 19835 and the last one BM7232B + 11329

I am suprised that they would have serial numbers on wheel trims, not sure if genuine BMW

any idea of value?

Thanks Peter

Peter,

not sure about the numbers ... but the best determination is to post a picture of the outer edge. there is a definite difference between the CSL edge and the aftermarket ones - CSL has crisp edges, most aftermarket have round edges. i have a set of aftermarket ones ... and i offered them up for sale for best offer ... no responses. CSL trims have significant value

That's what they should look like with the squarish edge and with only that parts# sticker on each wheel arch.
All those other numbers aren't familiar to me, but others might know more.

Believe the original CSL wheel arches were made of chromed brass. They are stiff as heck and not very malleable. Don't know about the present BMW arches.

Thanks for your help on this topic. Here are some photos of the arches

Hullo, I have a CSL , and I have been repairing and polishing the wheel opening trim, and they are stainless steel on my vehicle.
