There are several street CSLs place in different public and private museums all over the world. For instance:

- The Wolf Museum in Japan has a Polaris RHD CSL
- The EFA Museum in Germany has a Chamonix (Bat?) CSL
- The BMW Classic Museum in Germany has an Inka carb and a Golf injection CSL

etc.

In the Caramulo Museum (Portugal) this nice Polaris Carb is on display:

Anyone know the history of this one in Portugal?

Looks like a roll bar in there....a sporting history perhaps?

Don't know the history of this particular CSL in Portugal. The car is registered in Portugal. But, must be imported as there was no CSL sold new to Portugal. If this is a carb, it's most likely resprayed as no carb CSLs in Polaris left the factory in 1971 and 1972. From the photo, it looks like there is no CSL race-pin lock system.

However, if my source is correct, there are no cut-outs in the front (for the bumper). A good sign for indicating a real CSL.

More info about this CSL wld be welcome!
