Curious if anyone knows about different length pipes for the "elbow" that comes off the rear of the cylinder head and is connected to the heater core. It seems that the one on the new engine I'm building is longer than normal. It projects well past the side of the head, whereas the one on my CSL is much shorter. The extra length is causing clearance problems with my oil pressure sender unit. Did I somehow end up with the wrong part on this head?

Hey Barry,

Thanks for the information, and nice lump! I see you've got a post 82 head. As you're no doubt aware, the early heads had the pressure takeoff down at the bottom, just next to the intake manifold, perilously close to that pipe. I'll have to get the right part.
