Cylinder head rocker shafts

Are these just held in by friction and the head bolts? I had a head back from being reworked and went to turn it to the position for installation and the arms moved. I tapped them back and put in short bolts to hold in place until it is installed but just wanted to check as I didnt have this problem with other heads!

That's ok.
Too tight is the problem.

On the head from our 2800, several rockers were not centered on the valve stems when the head bolts were installed. The machine shop made a small spacer to put at the rear of the cam under the plate where the oil return is located, works fine.

Ok great guys - plan to stick it on properly tonight so fingers crossed it all goes ok.
