In a previous post I asked about painting the air cleaner on my D jet system. Next question: were some painted grey, and if so is there a paint number or close matching rattle can color?

Hi Steve, there has been some discussion on this previously as I recall but here's my 2 cents . My air cleaner is/ was the "dark green" type . I got the "as new" inside scanned by professional auto paint shop and the match was perfect . I daresay it will cost more to go this route but depends on what you want as to "authenticity " ...might be cheaper if they don't have to do the scanning thing and you simply provide paint code etc .
