Guys, I'm about to embark on replacement of the rubber protective caps on the D-Jet wiring harness . To do so, the 2 pin and 4 pin plugs firstly need to be disconnected from the wiring ....is this possible to do without cutting the wires ? ...it looks as if the plastic plugs may have some crimping holding wires in ??...don't want to go forcing anything which will invariably end in tears . Hope someone has dealt with this issue.
Cheers, Simon

Those plugs will be very fragile.... New ones are still available from Napa.

I made a simple tool out of a small flat blade screwdriver by grinding the sides down. Inserting the tool between the white plastic and metal connector releases a small tang so the wire can be removed on the boot side. Take them all out and the boot can be removed in one piece.

Agree that the plugs and boots are fragile. Plugs and 2 pin / 4 pin boots can be readily sourced. 3 pin boots and elbow boots are scarce. Rarest of all is the solid plastic boot at the main harness connection on the right front frame rail.
