D jetronics FI connectors & pins

Has anybody had any luck removing the pins from the fi connector and other engine connectors.

They have a heat indention to prevent removal.


I'm replacing the rubber boots, need some tricks

Do you have a photo of what you're talking about? If it's the boots over the actual injectors, I think I was able to just stretch the new boots over them. Use some lite oil for lubricant and go slow.

The problem is not putting the boot over the connector but the other side that cover the wires. Connector is over 1/2 inch, wire end is less that 1/4 inch to go over wire cover tightly.

This is aggravated with the throttle connector 1 inch and has multiple wires, cable end is 1/4 inch.
