Several months ago I asked if there was anyone interested in a group buy of Daddywad's beautiful front strut bar (see: http://www.e9coupe.com/forum/threads/strut-bar-group-buy.23627/ ). We have 8 members living in N America who have committed to the purchase, which exceeds Daddywad's minimum of 6. In addition, two members in Europe have arranged to be engaged as well. Information about discount, probable shipping costs etc. are on that link.

This post is to ascertain whether anyone who has not already committed wants to be included. Ohmess and I plan to place the order in early March, with delivery a few weeks after the order is placed. Payment from participants would need to be made by no later than the first week in March.

IF you want to be included in future communications, please start a 'conversation' with me. In that PM, please provide: your email address, you real name, your N. America mailing address, and your telephone number, so I can add you to the email distribution list I have for the current 8 participants (anyone who has given me a firm commitment during the past 3 months does not need to respond).

Thanks for your consideration - this will be my last post on the e9 Forum for this group buy. All future communication will be via direct email.

OK, I lied. Like Mr. Spicer, the Presidential Press Secretary, I'll try not to do it again!!

This additional post is to note that I've sent a direct e-mail to all who have committed to, or stated an interest in the group buy (11 members of the e9 Forum). IF you are in either group, and DID NOT get that e-mail, please send me a PM via the Conversation method ASAP.

Gary-

PS: Thanks for tolerating my indiscretion. Indeed, one person did not receive the email. Good safeguard via this post.

Is the front strut brace compatible with a Alpina airbox-side draft setup? While I think these are somewhat overkill for the street I admit they are great eye candy.

Not sure these repros fit, but the brace that Orangener made fits on my car (Barely) with the Alpina air box. I might have to tweak the bar as the motor could touch it if moving around a lot. Seems to me Daddywad made a repro of the Alpina box, so I'd expect this fits.
