dash top clips

On the major black vinyl piece of dash there are 4 clips on the underside to hold it down,or at least that's what they are supposed to do but every time I go to fit my Just Dashes dash in place the clips come off.I guess they were kinda molded in place at the factory but were removed when the dash was recovered so they are now free to wander about.Any suggestions on types of glue to hold them in place?This is very frustrating!

If glue needed, or useable, gorilla glue is very strong. Since position is very critical not sure if anything would work. If correct mounting position is possible the use of RTV silicone for retention, FLEXIBLE, but strong.
I also just did the dash out/install but did not have mine redone.
What were they thinking?
