Can anyone recommend a good product for putting on the dashboard to protect it from cracking? I usually park indoors, but I don't like exposing my dash to any sunlight at all while I'm driving. I have a dash cover, but it keeps falling off and looks pretty cheesy. I know enough to stay away from Armour All, but is there any product to condition the dash and protect it from UV exposure?

Andy,

Try any of the following:

303 Aerospace Protectant. Readily available. Some believe it is not durable enough for exterior such as tires. apparently equivalent to spf 40 sunblock.

Griots vinyl and rubber treatment. Lower sheen than most which can be good for glare, etc.

Zaino 16- I have not tried it, but some have stated that they get very good results for exterior treatment. I'll try it next time I order from them. www.zainobros.com

And remember: "Friends don't let friends do Armor All"
Hope all's well.
