I know the owner who is local to me, it's not for sale and he paid close to $40K two years ago. Seller gets a deposit and then disappears.

Someone should reply "I have a driver coming in that direction to pick up the car. He will have a cashiers check in the amount of $30000,00 would you please give him $1,000 cash since the check is for more than your asking amount"

Of course the cashiers check will bounce...
