My buddy made the remote start switch to connect to the diagnostic port of my '73 CS. It's a thing of beauty. I See pic. have looked in my big two binder service manual, but I don't see what the tool or instrument was that was originally used with this port. Can anyone help me with this, perhaps with a photo?

There were 2 diagnostic ports, the one on the thermostat housing for ignition data, and the other on the driver fender for starting and 12v. There was usually a Bosch diagnostic device that they went to, not unlike the old school Sun machines.
The fender port had voltage, dwell, rpm and remote start. A 2002 guy made a box to mimic a device called a Tune Box to perform these functions.
