differential mount reinforcement - good idea?

I see several vendors advertising ‘differential mount reinforcement’
Is that area a problem? Is this add-on a good idea?
 
Problems have occurred with some coupes in that area. It seems to depend on how vigorously you drive and whether you have a motor of increased torque.
 
There is also a box cavity that the diff mount attaches to that can trap moisture and rust. When i rebuilt my rear subframe i cleaned this up, treated the metal and painted inside it. I have a stock engine and the metal looked ok so i didn't reinforce but certainly wouldnt be a bad thing to do.
