Is this Pertronics? How do i chase down and ID? Anyone?

I have a Euro, from Frankfurt, '73 3.0csi with D-jet, so i think. Been trying to tune it up - thought i needed points....

Yes you have a pertronix unit installed already.. Make sure you are pulling power from the 12V side of ballast resister instead of at the coil...It likes a constant 12V connection to run correctly...

Damn! Sure glad you mentioned this: the positive and ground both connect to the coil. This could be the issue of that hesitation/cough/studder?
