this kind of picture makes one wonder how much more did the metal actually flex into the driver upon impact? There is certainly no room after impact but what did it look like durring actual impact. I bet the car was 12 -18 inches shorter upon impact compression.

Its a Jeep Grand Cherokee and my guess is that it was in a head-on with something big. Some of the vehicles I see are in two pieces!

Maybe the rear wheels.
I like to think the driver survived by a miracle and had only a couple of scuffs.
that jeep must have been hitting a semi front on.
