Does anyone know the name of this type of electrical terminal?

Hi guys, I'm looking for these terminals and I'd like to know where to buy them...

Ha, I was considering posting exactly the same thing, but I need the other half of this - not the connector at the end but instead the part further down the wire, the housing that seats into the female receptacle on the back of the gauges. I know some of these are brass throughout (like this one) while others have a plastic portion. I have one of the plastic ones that had broken and I was able to make it work with some tape, but would like to actually have it repaired. I looked online but couldn’t find these types of terminals.

Yes, this, but when I was installing the gauges two days ago, it was clear that there were two types of bulb bases. Some were metal in both the bulb attachment portion with the cutout as well on the wider "base" which forms the press-fit with the female receptacle. My understanding is that in this case the metal is serving as the ground to the receptacle. The other type of bayonet holders had metal in the cutout but then a plastic or bakelite base and circular cap, which is clearly then ungrounded. I need this second type. My issue was that the tubular plastic portion had broken away from its circular cap and therefore wouldn't stay anchored within the receptacle. I was able to rig something temporary by wrapping electrical tape around the holder to wedge it into place but it would be nice to actually put it right. I couldn't find this second type of lamp bayonet holder with the plastic base

Ok, I found a picture of what I’m trying to describe above. This is the back of the fuel/temp/indicator light gauge. You see the right bulb holder with a brass cap, which also has a brass shaft like the one shown in the first post of this thread, and which I suspect could be replaced by the item linked above. The bulb holder on the left has a black plastic cap and what can’t be seen since it’s installed is that the shaft is also black plastic, so doesn’t ground to the receptacle. This is the one I need to replace, and I can’t find an equivalent part online.

OK - that would be something like this then I guess with 2 pins:

I see what you mean, just found a pic of when I did the LED swap 2 years ago...

So here’s the (well, two) things:
1. I saw that part online, but it’s essentially unavailable
2. The piece in our E9 doesn’t have two pins. It looks exactly like the picture @alprada70 posted in the first post, with the center wire having a little end cap to contact the bottom of the bulb and that wire going through the holder, it’s just that it’s black plastic at its end and halfway along the shaft, then metal the rest of the way. I suppose these two pins are just connected in the same way, one wired to the base of the bulb and the other to the surround, so I would be willing to try it, if I could find it. Anyone have a source?

I also see that I’m not the only one who takes pictures of everything I take apart so that I remember how to put it back together

I hear you - this is not a 1:1 fir for the original part -- but then we have 50+ year old cars, so sometimes close enough might be good enough. From a functional perspective the bulb holder would need two contacts as it has two wires (+ and ground). When I search for BA9S bulb holders I find these options:

And completely random question, but what’s up with the green marker around some of the screws that make up the back of this gauge? It’s present on both of ours. I normally think of green marking either a ground (for many US things) or a positive (as often seems to be the case for some of our wiring). Here though there is ground marked with a G+ so not sure what the marker is indicating.

Thank you! I have finished my cluster harness restoration.
