Don't not look like original coupe wipers to me! They Look totally different! Are the wipers charcoal in color? Part # is not in the BMW part system.

yeah i was looking it up in the system what i could find was similar to the numbers. might be euro pieces? there is something written on a old piece of tape one of them...
looks like german :feder nicht verstarkt...
i have seen whipers like that on peter greggs 3.0csl thats why i thought the might be of a csl

Believe these were the only wipers ever fitted to the coupes, regardless of years and models. They were available in full chrome, matte stainless steel and the black painted version. Believe these finishes were respective to the years produced: early, mid, and late productions (1968-1975).

Matte stainless steel.

But what doesn't look right is the cover for the mount, it has a ridge in it. Every coupe wiper I've seen are smooth whether chrome, matte or black.

mine got like a rubber flap on top... very strange

Probably wipers from the later BMW's such as the 3, 5, 6 and 7 series. My 88 M6 has the black wipers with the rubber/plastic flaps. These are fastened with nuts onto the motor spindles, whereas the CS wipers are just spring loaded clip ons.

I found on the german BMW online parts catalogue the endorsements :

Supplement / TRICO / Production discontinued / Unit of quantity: Piece / Weight: 0.196 kg / 0.432 lb

TRICO is a american supplier for the automobile industry specialiced for wipers.......according to Google....

pretty cool work , detectives
the one you show looks different though
the arms i have have a rubber boot on top.
and a quick release at the end.
and since it was in all the stuff i got it from jack atkinson, who was peter greggs crew chief mechanic,
i am pretty sure it came of peter greggs car.
