Went to Buffalo yesterday to pick up a load of parts. Finally got my headers so I will have to say I am the last person to open the Box on some Stahl BMW M30 headers. Among the parts I ordered and had delivered to my friend in Cheektowaga were two sets of Coco Mats Front and rear for the Coupe and just some fronts for the 2002. They look Great and will last a lifetime but they are SO heavy. Carrying the box with these mats was uncomfortable. I'm going to have to guess it was 30-40 pounds.

Bob,

maybe yours were the last one delivered ... but i haven't opened mine yet. so ... you can't make that claim.

I was in quite a rush after returning from Buffalo as I was leaving for a trip the next morning and only had time to drop the boxes in the garage. I haven't opened my headers yet either, so we can try to see who can out last each other!! Since I am in need of clothes and I hear there is a Nitro Plate T shirt in there in my current size , I will probably break down first!!

+1
hi scott, if you keep the box closed for 20 years, you will end up with a very desirable NLA part !

hey deQ ... not sure if i can hold out that long. i just have to decide what i am going to do with the exhaust. as i have learned, there isn't a bolt on option as the stahl header is too long to bolt up to the factory setup ... and with an o2 sensor, i need to bring the exhaust into one pipe ... so that makes it lean toward the rear coupeking system or Sven's system with a special made up piece to connect to the center pipe (in front of the tubular resonator).

Bob,

the t-shirt should be in a plastic bag at the end of the box. at least that's where mine was. (still is)

Seems to me that is an admission the box has been opened!! (unless you ran the box through an X Ray machine)

Taped to the OUTSIDE of the box... Thats how mine was. So the shirt is being worn but the box with the headers is still unopened.

I am sad now. No T shirt (I saw nothing at the end of my Box)
