As has been suggested,
I am asking who would be in for a full set of door card strips.
Could someone search for what they would have cost from BMW so I can have a ballpark?

Stan, I was surprised to find that these were actually available separately way back in the day! No price available though.

As mentioned, I would be up for two sets Stan.

Might I suggest you put this post in Parts as well?

Thanks

Pete

Chris, any guesstimate as to a fair price for a set of 6 pieces. What would CK charge? Or LJI?
Anyone? I have my nephew sourcing aluminum stock.

I still do not have an idea of a fair selling price.
Once I establish this I can see if they can be made for that amount.
Any help here would be good. SFDon? CK? Beuller?

OK, $500 is a strong number but it might be fair. Please respond and let me know if you would pay $500 for a full set and I will approach my nephew to create.

I think $500 is a bit too much for a full set, although to custom make them would take some hours.
I think between $350 - $450 max. Saying that as I desperately need a set I would probably swap my 1st born:D

I don't need a set but I was thinking $100 a door. I spoke about it with @skb when were arranging his seat sale and he thought that was more than fair. He is looking for a set.

The bottom line is that it is expensive to make stuff. It seems reasonable to machine these out of aluminum stock, but it may not be easy to use the original attachment method.
