I bought these from W&N. Clearly it will not fit but the hole in the wood is the size it was before I redid the vaneer. Has anyone else had this issue? I will have to cut the escutcheon to fit.

Well that explains it. They were there when I bough the car so just assumed. Thanks as always.

I bought the set for the E3 Si from CoupeKing. The plastic chrome escutcheon looked just like the tan piece it replaced. They fit w/o problems. Yours looks to be a little different than mine. All of my door vinyl was covered in leather since the paint was wearing off the vinyl.

Even when cut, it's contour does not totally match the wood contour. I do think they add a nice touch as seen in Drew's car.

I bought a set of Stan's rubber ears, use them to protect the wood underneath.

I know they are from E3 Si, but I like their look on E9.

Nice job @Drew Gregg

They can do some stabilisation effect (I would expect at least) and look classic.

I have them and could mail as soon as you like. Originally they came in all colors but when I had them reproduced, they are in dark blue only. They can be painted with SEM to match your car's interior.

Stan, I am a bit behind schedule...... I got them from you months ago and am just now using them behind the E3 piece to protect the wood. Works nicely and can't even see it.
