Door Gaskets

I now have the gaskets for the doors, labelled 1 and 13.

The vertical gaskets have arrived and I await the horizontal gaskets from a very helpful member.

Does anyone have any pictures of what these looked like on the car? The vertical ones seem to be the same for left and right but they are a certain shape and I do not want to get this wrong, them being NLA. Also - are they glued on or do they clip on somewhere. If its glue, what would people suggest and I will will try to source the alternative over here.

I used a loctite gasket maker 50479 -- http://www.na.henkel-adhesives.com/adhesives/product-search-1554.htm?nodeid=8797930815489 -- as an adhesive, and it works well. I installed a non-BMW part, so I don't have a picture showing the orientation of the BMW part.

Hello Rek. #13 is glued on (I believe opposite profile for each door) and #1 slides into a Chanel under the door. Sikaflex is a strong glue for rubber but there are a number of options available. I do know that there will be interest in these gaskets, so if they are or will be for sale, please let us know. Keshav

in so far as the rear vertical unit, it is available at bmw of south atlanta.
They are $110.00 for each side.
i ordered one and they are very close to the oem piece.
Each one has its own profile, if that helps.

For what they are they are soooo expensive.
