Door Hard To Open

Drivers door requires a significant shoulder shove to open. Opens easily from the outside. Alignment seems ok and same as passenger door.

Any suggestions?

Check the door brake?

Remove the black insert and check to see that your door handle is not cracked and that it is seated securely. I think it is made of a pot metal. If there is a problem, it would probably be in the area around the screw.

Probably the connecting rod from interior handle to the latch or the mounting screws are loose. Replace the little plastic grommets, three in each door as well.

I think this could be it. I did notice the more I opened and closed the latch with the door open the interior handle started loosening the latch. Wouldn’t open the latch but made it easier to nudge the door open with my elbow instead of using my shoulder.
