door mirror question

guys, i have a csl with a flacid left side door mirror.

can someone tell me if there is an adjustment to tighten or is it sealed/impossible to adjust?

You have to remove the grub screw in the base to remove the mirror from the door. Soak the grub screw with penetrating oil before attempting to turn the slotted head- WD40 is a waste of time. Turn the mirror upside down and you'll see a 10mm hex headed bolt passing thru the base into mirror arm. Turn the bolt clockwise to tighten mirror onto base- not a bad idea to remove bolt and clean concave washer, spring, base & arm before tightening. The base & arm are pot metal so be careful not to overtighten and crack them.
