When I bought my Coupe, it was missing one of its rear door panel "blinds". I've ignored it all these years, but now that I am converting the window motors and cleaning up the panels, chrome, wood, etc, I thought it was time to find one. I actually needed two as one of the retaining posts on the remaining is brittle and about to break off.
After a search, I found that Coupe King sells them. A mere $85 for a round piece of plastic. I don't mind paying a premium for parts, but $85 is a bit over the top.
Solution: Ace Hardware Nylon Knock-Out Seals. $0.99 each.
Minor Problem: The size I needed (37mm appx 1 1/2") only comes in gray.
Solution: $4.99 Black Satin Plastic-Friendly Spray Paint
Total Investment: $7.00 vs $170.00
The Result: Snug and Color Matched.
