Does anyone know who else may produce these ?...I'm chasing the type that Aardvarc Racing do but shipping cost alone from US to OZ ( as usual ) is pretty pricey...$125. Have emailed World Upholstery asking if they sell just the panel board + shipping cost but no response as yet. I want to give trimmer "cleanskins" so he doesn't have to stuff around making new ones from somewhat dodgy templates. Thanks, Simon

Ship by USPS- that's cheapest. I shipped Gary's last year to Brisbane area in a 1' x 2' x 4' box. Stuffed that box to the customs limit with goodies from the states.
Same price.

Can your trimmer replicate the specific 'pressings' in the material for the door trim panels,If so I need a set in black.

Hi Burky, I'm doing in leather so probably just stitching . It looks like World Upholstery in US have the type of panels you're chasing. No price listed but not cheap as I recall. Simon

Have you given thought to buying new ones made from wood - cut with a CNC router to exact size as the originals. There is a forum member who makes them. They are beautiful, I have a set, NOT for sale. It will cost you less to send pre-cut panels than blank boards since they are larger

...it's the pre-cut panels that I was chasing ; Dave from Aardvarc Racing has them but shipping was expensive to OZ . Is Dave the Forum member you're referring to ? I may have to pursue Don's shipping suggestion but not sure how I do that from downunder . Thanks, Simon

You need someone in OZ if it's the shipping cost that you have a problem with.

You should get all 5 pieces and ship via USPS. I have DHL, UPS and USPS access to OZ - cheapest is USPS.
Aardvark doesn't have the hat rack or rear pieces.
Last I heard there is another run ready.
Aardvark does have a good price on his
panels.

Thanks Don, yes, I agree Aardvarc panel price is fair . Hat Rack ?:) ....is that that the rear parcel shelf ? ...if so, mine is "as new" . Are you also saying that there are panels /boards available for rear ? ( not upholstered ) . Simon

Yes the price on 2 new door panels, Black, with the storage pocket and door, purchase price, shipping, exchange rate, aus taxes, not much change out of GULP $3000 Aus , all because someone wanted to listen to ABBA on their new panasonic speakers mounted through my door panels , Tragic.

I ordered two 5 piece sets from Terry Conners (srennoc on this board) last week. They don't get much better than his, we installed them on Mike Burger's coupe. Don- I assumed that's where you got yours. Is he sold out already?

Dave is NOT the guy I was referring to. Send a PM to SFDon and he can connect you

First ten sets sold- 10 more ordered.
I've shipped these to OZ
I will check on new ones for you.
Aardvark is good and cheap. But-
They only have fronts.
Terry makes all 5 pieces
I'm shipping to Gold Coast next week.

Thanks Don, sent you PM yesterday , which is probably "today" for you ...if that makes sense .

Update on door panels and 'hat rack' shelf. Terry Conners just took delivery of ten sets. Six sets are sold already, I just ordered mine.
these are CNC machined in 3 ply euro birch and 6 ply for the hat rack....same thickness as stock. they look great.

I have a set of the door panels and they are perfect. Buy with confidence as these are better than original

I just went to Terry's shop on Saturday, and wow, that place is freaking awesome. The door panels are absolutely perfect. He's got a few sets left I think.
