Does the chrome strip go in front of the kick panel so you see it or is it hidden behind the panel? Could someone possibly post a picture please?

The chrome trim is meant to be seen and there is a "rolled" piece of fabric that protrudes in front of the trim as well- not sure if that helps-

The leading front edge of the chrome sill disappears behind the side kick panel of the foot well. There are various pictures of this condition in the photos section for the 3.0 CSI and also probably the CS folder.
