Don took us on Friday to visit Double02 Salvage in Hayward, what an amazing collection of used and new BMW parts.

Chris, I've been using them since I was in high school. I could be wrong but I think they have been there since at least 1988. Funny, what are you doing up there? Parts hunt???? Good guys, I've actually had to ask them if they were sure about the price of the items I ordered thinking they forgot something because very inexpensive..No Affiliation....LOL...

Definitely Old Skool! Want a knob for your switch, $35. But at least they have them. I took three trannies to Don for resealing and visited some in-laws and had dinner with Don, visited his shop (again) and brought BBS wheels back from Terry C for Bob P.

With the round hollow spacer, extra long threaded bolt and the Dolly it takes 3-4 seconds to
Drive in the compliance bushing.

Marshal got me a new gas tank, new front strut housings and a muffler for my Bav for a reasonable price when doing the resto . The strut housings at Bav Auto Salvage were over $200 each, I got both from 02 for about 200 shipped. When I asked if he had a muffler, he said they had one, they had been using it as a door stop...sold!
