I just came across this site, and have only scratched the surface. But there is a ton of information and a forum for posting questions, etc. And it appears the proprietor has a home business supplying and fixing d-jetronic stuff too.

Simon, Here is text from bottom of history page: "If you are looking for D-Jetronic components (especially but not limited to Mercedes-Benz) or want to get rid of some, just drop me an email to [email protected]. I run them on my test stand against my references (e.g. all 14 function blocks of an ECU) and make a test protocol and put them in my stock. Sometimes it gets too much and the best of all wifes demands eduction. [??] I am always happy to help one of you in making his D-Jetronic run perfectly well again. Your Dr-DJet (Volker)"
[But see my later post above. The Dr. now prefers to be contracted through his forum http://huckhome.de/en/forum/jetronic ]

Don, I'm happy to have something to share on this arcane subject- even if just by googling and use of the Chrome browser "Translate" feature. BTW, Translate does a good enough job with the German pages of this site - they come out pretty understandably.
But Dr D-jet or no, you are still the BMW d-jet man...

prefers contact through jetronic forum

I got this message from Volker, the proprietor of the Dr d-jet site: I usually prefer to be contacted via fourm, not via email. Why? It gives everybody a chance to answer and read my answers and I do not have to write everything agaian. After all, that's what I created the email for.

So please ask correspondents to just register by clicking on Login button on upper left. Then will have to do the captcha and boom, I approve account. If he has any problem with registering, I will surely help.
